AGC 1/4" x 1-1/4" fast-acting automotive glass tube fuses. AGC fuses, also known as American Glass and Ceramic fuses, are small cylindrical glass components used to protect electrical circuits. They work by blowing when an overcurrent occurs, breaking the circuit and stopping electricity flow to prevent damage.
Originally used in automobiles, AGC fuses are still common in older cars and other equipment, making them ideal for restoration projects. Available in various amp ratings, replacing a blown AGC fuse restores power to the circuit, ensuring continued protection.
